Overview:

The 4.6-acre Cell House property has been designated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as part of the Chlor-Alkali Facility Superfund site.

The City of Berlin has assembled a committee called the Chlor-Alkali Reuse Planning Committee (committee) to work with EPA, the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, and a consultant team from E² Inc. to communicate how the community would like to see the Cell House property used in the future. The committee is developing a set of future land use recommendations that will be presented to EPA, New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and the City of Berlin in late 2008.
